New release ‘Ongekend herkenbaar. Over de betekenis van kunst’
In this new book by philosopher Onno Zijlstra, the meaning of art takes center stage. In Ongekend herkenbaar. Over de betekenis van kunst, Zijlstra inspiringly encourages the reader to reflect on questions through discussions of contemporary artworks, such as: Does art make us look differently? What can art mean for a community? Is art an expression of feeling? These questions are accompanied by imaginative illustrations by Emma Versluys and a colorful design by Dana Dijkgraaf.
The book presentation of Ongekend herkenbaar took place on the 11th of May in Amersfoort. It was a wonderful evening with more than 70 attendees! Dana Dijkgraaf (designer) and Emma Versluys (illustrator) took the audience through the creative process, and Onno Zijlstra gave an inspiring lecture on the themes of Ongekend herkenbaar.
